America’s largest rock festival, Welcome to Rockville, is returning to its home of Daytona International Speedway on May 15-18 2025, and has already started to announce its lineup slowly! With the 2024 edition of the fest seeing more than 200,000 fans, over 150 bands, and expanding to 5 stages for the first time, The Danny Wimmer Presents team most definitely earned the title of North America’s Largest Rock Festival. Among the biggest names playing at the 2024 edition of the fest included Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Motley Crue, Jelly Roll, Disturbed, Falling In Reverse, Evanescence, Judas Priest, Great Van Fleet, and many more made for a record-breaking year. Already setting the bar for what looks to be an even bigger, better 2025, DWP has unveiled the first wave of confirmed artists for the 2025 event.
Instead of announcing the lineup all at once, Welcome to Rockville will be announcing the lineup in bits and pieces with daily artist announcements. It’s brilliant because it builds anticipation and is like a fun little advent calendar wondering who we are going to get next! Out of the 152 bands scheduled to play, we got the first little chunk of artists announced today. The Stage 5 lineup for Thursday includes a rare reunion show from The Dillinger Escape Plan, plus Quicksand, Health, Deafheaven, Converge, Full of Hell, Harms Way, and Candy. This is the second show Dillinger Escape Plan has announced for 2025 so far as they’re also playing Milwaukee Metal Fest. Three Days Grace, who recently reunited with original singer Adam Gontier, was previously announced to play Welcome to Rockville as well when they also got announced for Sonic Temple last month.
