Celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Practice What You Preach, Testament will be performing songs that we’ve always wanted to hear live AND story time! Nuclear Blast recently acquired Testament’s first six albums and this tour celebrates the reissue of Practice What You Preach. I’ve been hoping for a tour that would play the album in its entirety, but this is way more than I was expecting. An intimate evening of deep cuts, ballads, and story time. I was 19 years old when this album was released and I was so intrigued with the lyrics, because they were thought provoking and different from any other band. I remember reading some of the lyrics of “Greenhouse Effect” to my mom. Not that she was willing to listen to metal, but she did gain a new appreciation for it. I’m so excited to hear the stories behind this album that has meant so much to me. There are only 15 dates on this tour, with a couple stops at Danny Wimmer Presents festivals Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival, Welcome to Rockville, and Louder Than Life! Grab your tickets now!
