Ice Nine Kills Announces Killer Tour, "Fear The Premiere"

Ice Nine Kills

Ice Nine Kills has just announced their "Fear The Premiere" tour! The lineup will also include August Burns’s Red and Veil of Maya for shows between August 8th through August 11th, and then Set It Off and The Plot In You for shows between August 15th and September 1st. Mikes Dead will be an opener across all dates.

Ice Nine Kills very quickly became one of my favorite bands after I saw them for the first time performing at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in 2021.

I didn’t know much of their music back then but I was completely blown away by their theatrics and the way they bring horror movies to life on stage. I’m a sucker for bands that bring something different to the stage anyways, but Ice Nine just take it to a whole different level! After that started my “addiction” and 2022 was my year of Ice Nine Kills. I somehow managed to see them 13 times, in 9 different states, all in 1 year! Every show I went to has now become a core memory and though I went to so many, each show was different and has a story that I'll never forget. I’ve been trying to find a way to beat last year’s record and now with this tour and Falling In Reverse’s “Popular MonsTour,” I think I might actually have a shot at topping it! Who knows.

Ice Nine Kills extremely successful album, "The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood," was released back in October 2021. Since then, the album has given Ice Nine their first Top 20 position (No. 18) on the Billboard Top 200, topped the Digital and Current Hard Music charts, and hit the Top 5 on the Current Rock, Independent, Current Albums, and Album Sales charts. They have also clocked up 137 million cross-platform streams to date and 13 million YouTube views for singles "Hip To Be Scared", "Assault & Batteries", "Rainy Day", "Funeral Derangements", "Take Your Pick" and "The Shower Scene.”

Since the release of "The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood,” Ice Nine Kills has been seeing some serious exponential growth!

Throughout 2022, they toured the U.S. extensively for three legs of "The Trinity Of Terror!” This triple co-headline tour, also featuring Motionless In White and Black Veil Brides, was massively successful and mostly sold out! Ice Nine also supported Metallica at three of their U.S. stadium shows and toured the U.S. with Slipknot! Last year was the inaugural year of their horror convention, The Silver Scream Con. The convention brings together horror fanatics and INK fans from all over the world to celebrate their love of horror. Frontman Spencer Charnas say, “This is the chance for our loyal psychos to not only interact with the band, but to meet the stars of the very films that our music pays tribute to.” Ice Nine is moving forward into 2023 with all of last year’s momentum. They are already on their European headlining tour, Wurst Vacation, along with opening for some huge Metallica shows while they’re also in Europe.
