Falling In Reverse has just announced their Summer 2023 Headline Tour, The Popular Monstour, with special guests Ice Nine Kills! Additional special guests on select dates include Underoath, Spiritbox, Slaughter to Prevail, Crown The Empire, and Catch Your Breath. This was one of those tour announcements that I was in total disbelief about when I saw it. It’s such a stacked lineup, no matter the artist combination, that it’s a serious can’t miss. The first show of the Popular Monstour starts on June 26th in Charleston, West Virginia, and the tour will stretch across the entire country before ending on July 30th in Redding, California.
Falling In Reverse continues to explode in the heavy music industry. The band has clocked in an impressive 2.7 billion streams overall!
One of there recent singles, "Voices In My Head," scored over 95 million streams and was the #1 song of 2022 on SiriusXM's Octane, while "Zombified’' gained 120 million and topped the active rock charts. "Popular Monster," the song the tour is named after, landed at No. 1 on the active rock charts, as well. Falling In Reverse just recently released their latest single, “Watch The World Burn." The song blends together both rap and metalcore perfectly. Falling In Reverse scored their first ever entry on the Billboard Top 100 Chart with this single at No. 86.
Ice Nine Kills has been on some massive tours lately. They just concluded their nearly year long Trinity of Terror Tour, which I saw nine shows off, with Black Veil Brides and Motionless In White. They also played three shows with Metallica last year and will be joining them again later this summer as special guests on the North American leg of their 72 Seasons World Tour. I saw Ice Nine Kills 13 times last year and I need to find a way to top it this year. With these two tour announcements, it seems likely.
In April, Spiritbox will be going on their first-ever North American headlining tour, The Eternal Blue Tour. The band’s debut album Eternal Blue hit No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. Underoath is currently on their Blind Obedience headlining tour. For people who got VIP at their shows, they have been playing some unreleased music that they are currently working on. Hopefully this means a new album is coming out soon!
