Bring Me The Horizon is Back With The Release of "LosT"

After a bunch of teasing and building up the excitement, Bring Me the Horizon has finally released their new song “LosT!” It the latest track in their ongoing Post Human series. Bring Me’s sound has definitely evolved from its early deathcore days, with “LosT” bringing that Emo/Pop-Punk sound back into the scene. Frontman Oli Sykes spoke about the new single to BBC Radio 1, “I think “LosT” encapsulates exactly how I imagine this next album or EP or whatever you want to call it, is going to sound like,” he explained, adding that it feels like a “really good representation of how I imagine this record to be.

The new single has relatable lyrics pointing to battles with mental illness and difficulties with prescribed medication.

Musically, "LosT" follows the same line as BMTH's last two singles, 2021's "DiE4u" and 2022's "sTraNgeRs." All feature a more electro pop-punk sound with bits of metalcore in there as well. Though they are bringing more of a modern pop-punk sound, it still has elements of more of the Warped Tour post-hardcore that these guys kind of originated from. Bring Me the Horizon has been taking an alternative approach to releasing music since their 2019 album, Amo. Rather than drop a full-length LP, the band has been going with EP releases, such as the 2020 collection Post Human: Survival Horror and one-off singles “DiE4u” and “sTraNgeRs.”

Bring Me The Horizon has had a really impressive last couple of years with selling over five million albums globally to date and playing sold-out shows in over 50 countries! The group released its gold-certified sixth studio album, Amo, which debuted at No. 1 in 17 markets and was named "one of the most anticipated albums of 2019" by Billboard. It also got the band their second Grammy nomination for "Best Rock Album,” after the LP's leading single "Mantra" was up for "Best Rock Song" in 2018. Bring Me The Horizon have now also surpassed over one billion video views on YouTube and are in the top 500 most streamed artists globally on Spotify.

Bring Me The Horizon will be back in the states this summer joining Fall Out Boy on their “So Much For (Tour) Dust” Tour. The bands are set to hit the road together on June 27th at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, Texas. The tour will see them playing at amphitheaters and stadiums across the country, playing two nights at BMO Arena in Los Angeles July 2 and July 3, and finally closing out in Boston's Fenway Park on August 2. Bring Me The Horizon will also be playing at next month’s Download Festival making their headline debut!
