Blessthefall is finally back and in two very big ways! After releasing a new single a couple days ago, the band has also just announced a tour to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their album, Hollow Bodies, which will included support from Caskets, Kingdom of Giants, and Dragged Under. The tour kicks off in Santa Ana, California on August 3rd and will wrapped up in Phoenix, Arizona on September 1st. Their new single,“Wake the Dead,” was released via Rise Records and it’s the band’s first new release in five years!
On a social media post for their accompanying music video, the band promised that there is “more to come.”
The band shared, "To all the fans…we've seen you and heard you over the last five years. We're back and this one's for you. 'Wake The Dead' has all the elements that define our band. We took our time writing it but didn't overthink. We wanted the first song to melt your faces from the beginning and drag you to the end without slowing down. We hope you love it as much as we do." They continued, "Hollow Bodies was the album that took our band to the next level and for that we are forever grateful. Being able to do a 10-year anniversary tour and play the record in its entirety is going to be incredibly special. It's been four years since we played a live show and want to pick up right where we left off. We can't wait to see your sweaty faces in the crowd!"
Tickets go on sale today, May 26th! A special VIP upgrade will be available for the tour and includes an exclusive Hollow Bodies vinyl reissue in splattered red, a meet and greet with the band which includes a photo opportunity, a Q&A session, a signed tour poster, an enamel pin, and a commemorative laminate. Blessthefall has also just been added to Blue Ridge Rock Festival’s lineup for September 7th! The full list of tour dates can be seen below.
