The West Coast’s Biggest Rock Festival, Aftershock, is coming back even bigger in 2023 with its most packed lineup yet with more than 90 bands over four full days. This year's lineup is led by headliners Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn, with other performances from Godsmack, Pantera, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Rancid, Turnstile, I Prevail, Dance Gavin Dance, Corey Taylor, Bad Omens, Skillet, Avatar, Sleep Token, Rain City Drive and many more. Also, returning as host for the second year is Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin. Aftershock 2023 will take place on October 5-8 and is held at Discovery Park in Sacramento, CA.
This year will build on last year’s record-setting success including an audience of 160,000 and brought in $30 million for the local community.

For Avenged Sevenfold, this lineup announcement comes along with the band's own announcement of their new single, “Nobody,” and an upcoming album, Life Is But a Dream…, due June 2. Besides Aftershock, Avenged Sevenfold will also be playing Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple in May. Along with headline shows at Los Angeles’s KIA Forum on June 9 and New York’s Madison Square Garden on June 23. These shows will be some of the first shows Avenged Sevenfold has played since 2018.
